Acupuncture for natural fertility support
For natural fertility support, I recommend an initial 3 month course of acupuncture sessions
With the frequency of
- An initial consultation, including an individualised report
- A course of 12 weekly sessions,
After 3 months, we will review our treatment plan. Where may continue fortnightly for an agreed period of time, discuss further testing if appropriate, or hopefully, evaluate whether you could benefit from early pregnancy support.
Acupuncture in preparation for an assisted cycle
(IUI, IVF, ICSI, FET, Doner)
When to start?
A minimum of 3 months before assisted cycle starts
- Initial course of 12 weekly sessions,
- additional sessions are recommended around transfer dates
I recommend starting acupuncture a minimum of 3 months before assisted cycles (IUI or IVF). This is because it takes up to and around 100 days for an egg to mature, 3 months of acupuncture, diet and lifestyle changes can provide the best chance of influencing both sperm and egg quality.
Please note:
My waiting list is roughly 1-2 months at any given time, please bear this in mind. It's best to get in contact with me 4-5 months before you intend to start IVF to avoid disappointment.
