Fertility Acupuncture

Supporting you in your fertility journey, whether your journey is via natural or assisted methods.

I have had the privilege of supporting many couples on their fertility journeys. With over a decade of experience supporting women with unexplained infertility, PCOS, endometriosis, pelvic inflammatory disease, recurrent miscarriage, advanced maternal age and secondary infertility.

Are you struggling to conceive? Firstly I want to reassure you that although at times it may feel lonely and isolating, you are not alone. 1 in 7 couples have trouble getting pregnant.

I want you to know that to even be on this webpage today, I acknowledge the journey you have been on, infertility can be a painful struggle. Coping with the emotional stress of infertility can be an additional factor, and whilst no two journeys are the same, the despair and frustration can be overwhelming.

My personal experience gave me insight, understanding and the desire to support couples on what can be a bumpy journey. Whether you have a diagnosed condition or you fall into the realm of 'unexplained' infertility, acupuncture can be an empowering and integral part of your journey providing support, information, guidance and a fresh pair of eyes on your presentation.

Acupuncture in preparation for IVF/IUI

When to start?

Recent research has demonstrated that acupuncture can be beneficial in the months leading up to the assisted cycle. I liken this to 'preparing the soil' before the seed is planted, acupuncture and lifestyle changes will prepare the soil and IVF will plant the seed. With this in mind, we can understand how acupuncture solely around transfer may not be as beneficial as acupuncture leading up to the transfer and around the time of transfer.
